The facility met our needs- convenient location, secure parking. The restaurant was tasty but they really need to add more staff- one woman was working the entire place- and that didn’t seem fair to us, our fellow dinners or even the solo server. Wifi was not working for first half of our stay- but reception staff honored their promise to get it fixed later in the day. Very nicely sound proofed- we were on a lower level- facing a busy street and heard next to nothing! Common areas were nicely maintained with lots of comfortable seating!

Hotel de Guimaraes is a corporate hotel. The room we had was very spacious and comfortable. The shower was large and good and the bathroom area was large. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was varied and good. The reception staff were extremely helpful and we had an excellent meal one evening attended by a very friendly and helpful waiter - who recommended a superb white wine.

The room was very spacious, the bed was huge and very comfortable. I enjoyed the fact that there was a bath not just a shower. The bar, restaurant and lounge areas were very nice, tastefully decorated with very comfortable seating. Location was great, a short walk to town and there is plenty of free parking at the hotel.

Bed super comfortable. All staff very helpful and spoke English. Secure free parking in garage. Location idea for town centre and train station. Later less than a 10 minute walk away.
